Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ChangeEagle (the "Service"), operated by ChangeEagle (operated from Sweden). By creating an account, accepting these Terms, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by them and by our Privacy Policy and Fair Use Policy, which are incorporated by reference.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or have verifiable consent from a parent or guardian, to use the Service. You must have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. The Service is not intended for use where prohibited by applicable law.

By using the Service, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will use the Service only for lawful purposes.

2. Accounts

To use most features you must register an account with a valid email address and a secure password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Do not share your account or create accounts on behalf of others without permission.
• We may refuse registration, reclaim usernames, or require verification where reasonably necessary.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Without limiting other restrictions in these Terms or our Fair Use Policy, you must not:

• Use the Service for abuse, harassment, spam, or unlawful notification campaigns.
• Attempt credential harvesting, phishing, or unauthorized access to third-party systems.
• Conduct or facilitate denial-of-service attacks, load testing without authorization, or other activity intended to impair networks or websites.
• Bypass or attempt to bypass access controls, authentication, paywalls, robots rules, or technical protections.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or probe the Service in ways that exceed normal use or documented APIs.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our prior written consent.
• Use the Service for illegal surveillance or monitoring of individuals without a lawful basis.

4. Monitored content

The Service monitors URLs and web pages that you submit. You are solely responsible for choosing what to monitor and for ensuring you have the right to access and monitor that content.

• Public pages only. The Service is designed for publicly accessible web content. Do not use it to monitor pages you are not authorized to access, including content behind logins, private APIs, or restricted areas you do not control.
• Third-party rights. You must respect the rights of website owners, including terms of use, copyright, and privacy rights. We are not responsible for your choice of targets or your compliance with third-party rules.
• No endorsement. Monitoring a URL does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or approval from the site owner.

5. AI features

The Service may use automated extraction and, where enabled, artificial intelligence — including third-party model providers such as DeepSeek — to classify, summarize, or evaluate page content against conditions you define.

• AI output is probabilistic and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated.
• AI features are subject to plan limits, daily caps, and technical constraints described in our Fair Use Policy.
• Do not rely on AI-assisted results for legal, compliance, medical, financial, safety-critical, or similarly high-stakes decisions.
• We may enable, disable, or change AI providers and models as the Service evolves.

6. Fair use limits

To protect the Service, monitored sites, and other users, we impose limits on monitors, check frequency, domains, AI calls, alert volume, and related resources. Limits may vary by plan and may change as described in our Fair Use Policy and on the pricing page.

We may throttle, queue, or decline requests that exceed limits or that we reasonably believe pose operational, security, or abuse risk. Exceeding limits does not entitle you to a refund unless separately agreed in writing.

7. Service availability

ChangeEagle periodically fetches user-submitted URLs, extracts prices, availability, text, and related signals, and sends email alerts when your conditions are met. The Service is provided on a best-effort basis.

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free extraction, or delivery of every alert.
• Checks may be delayed by jitter, domain throttling, quiet hours, maintenance, or upstream failures.
• We may miss changes, detect false positives, or misread page structure — especially on complex, dynamic, or heavily scripted sites.
• Do not rely on the Service as your sole mechanism for time-critical purchases, compliance monitoring, or financial decisions.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, throttle, restrict, or terminate your account or individual monitors if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, the Fair Use Policy, applicable law, or if your use threatens the security or integrity of the Service or third-party sites.

You may stop using the Service at any time. To request account deletion, contact support@changeeagle.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, subject to any data retention described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and all content, alerts, extractions, and AI output are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

We do not warrant that monitoring results will be complete, timely, or suitable for your purposes. You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ChangeEagle (operated from Sweden) and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) a nominal amount where no fees were paid — except where liability cannot be limited under mandatory applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated version date. Where required or appropriate, we will ask you to accept the revised Terms before you continue using the Service. Your continued use after the effective date of an update may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
