FAQ
Everything people ask before their first monitor. Something missing? Ask us directly.
You paste a URL and pick what to watch: a price, stock status, specific text, the whole page, or a visual region you draw on a screenshot. On a schedule you choose, we re-check the page and compare against your condition. The first time it becomes true you get one alert — with the evidence (text deltas or before/after images) and a short AI explanation of what changed.
A monitored region is a rectangle you draw on a live screenshot of the page — a price box, a stock badge, a seat map, a chart. ChangeEagle captures just that region on every check and compares it pixel-by-pixel against the last capture. When it changes, the alert includes three images: before, after, and a diff that highlights exactly what moved.
By design. The visual diff engine is anti-aliasing aware: it recognizes font smoothing, sub-pixel rendering shimmer, and other single-pixel noise that no human would call a change, and excludes them from the comparison. Only a meaningful amount of genuinely changed pixels inside your region fires an alert — so you can trust that a visual alert means something actually changed.
There is no fixed list — ChangeEagle is generic by design and works on most product pages. Shops with structured product data work best, and site adapters add store-level stock for chains that publish per-store availability. JavaScript-heavy storefronts are rendered with a real browser. Sites behind login walls or aggressive bot protection may not work.
Prices in SEK, EUR, and USD in both decimal styles (1,234.56 and 1 234,56), plus the Swedish “:-” suffix. Availability phrases are detected in English and Swedish — for example “in stock”, “sold out”, “finns i lager”, “slutsåld”, “lägg i varukorg”.
You choose per monitor, within your plan's limit. Free accounts check every 6 hours. Paid plans go faster: Pro every 30 minutes, Power every 10 minutes, Business every 5 minutes, and Enterprise every 2 minutes. Checks run around the clock from our background workers. Monitors that take pictures of the page run on a slower schedule than text checks — a screenshot costs a full browser render every time, and we stay a polite visitor to the sites we photograph. Your plan's picture cadence is shown on the pricing page and in the schedule picker.
No. Alerts fire on transitions — the moment your condition goes from false to true. A product that stays in stock for a week generates one alert, not 300. Page-change and visual monitors alert once per actual change.
Yes. Alerts can be delivered to Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Discord via incoming webhooks, or to any HTTPS endpoint as a JSON webhook — with the same explanation attached. Set them up under Settings → Integrations and send a test alert to verify the connection.
A per-monitor daily window (in your timezone) during which alert emails are held instead of sent — say 22:00 to 08:00. When the window ends, held alerts are delivered. You never lose an alert; you just don't get woken up by one.
No. We use only strictly necessary cookies (your login session and your cookie-notice choice), no third-party analytics, no ads, and we never sell data. Product telemetry is aggregated and anonymous. See the privacy policy for details.
Free includes 5 monitors with checks every 6 hours, forever. Pro is €9/month including VAT with 50 monitors and checks every 30 minutes. Power (€19/month) and Business (€49/month) raise the limits and check every 10 minutes and every 5 minutes respectively; Enterprise is custom. You can upgrade with a card at any time, and the Free plan stays free — no card needed.
Yes. Plans are monthly with no lock-in — cancelling returns your account to Free limits and your monitors and history stay intact. You can also delete your account and all data entirely.
ChangeEagle checks pages politely: it respects robots.txt, uses conservative frequencies, identifies itself with a proper user agent, and never bypasses logins or bot protection. You are responsible for only monitoring pages you may lawfully access.
